In 1983, Cel Pezzimenti founded this family owned business. Lifting up the roller door of the family home garage Design Auto Interiors was born.
The business grew rapidly and re-located to:
Factory 7 - 13 Malvern Street, Bayswater,
where our skilled team of trimmers have completed their apprenticeships under the guidance of Cel.

ABOUT US: Our skilled trimmers have the expertise and experience to make your entire interior look and feel like new again. We are dedicated to transforming worn out trim pieces, seat springs and framework, re-padding and re-covering of all automotive seating.
Our team pride ourselves on high quality and professional restorations of Vintage Cars, Street Rods-Custom interiors, Light Aircraft and Vintage Rail Carriages. Alongside our prestige restorations, we methodically repair interiors of your day to day pride and joy (including but not limited to seat repairs, headlinings and steering wheel coverings).
Customers can choose from a wide range of materials – including leathers, vinyls and fabrics – in a variety of contemporary and classic designs.
Many awards have been won by the dedicated and professional team at Design Auto Interiors and many articles have featured in Street Machines, Hot Rods and Custom Car shows and magazines.
